2012 PARADE OF HOMES ANNOUNCES PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS

The Holiday Parade of Homes, presented by the Home Builders Association of Great Columbia (HBAGC), City of Forest Acres and Forest Acres Restaurant and Merchants Association ended last weekend.  Over 4,000 people walked through the gate at the Olde Park in Forest Acres to see four brand-new fully decorated homes.  The HBAGC would like to thank all of the attendees for visiting this year.

Every attendee of the Parade of Homes had an opportunity to vote for their favorite home design and interior design in the People’s Choice Awards.  These awards are highly sought after by the builders and interior designers each year.  Now that the event is over, here are the results from the 2012 Holiday Parade of Homes People’s Choice Awards:

PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD FOR BEST HOME

PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD FOR BEST INTERIOR

Interior Design by CL Interiors – Christy Monteith

Thanks to everyone who voted during the 2012 Holiday Parade of Homes.  We’d like to say that all of the builders are winners in our eyes and we appreciate their hard work in presenting four beautiful homes.  Participating builders were Executive Construction, LLC, Cole Thompson Construction, Rex Thompson & Company and Columbia Residential Construction.

The Parade of Homes was presented by the Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia and sponsored by The City of Forest Acres, The Forest Acres Restaurant and Merchants Association, Bi-Lo, SCE&G Gas Sales, and The State Media Company. Special thanks to SCE&G and Time Warner Cable for sponsoring the Christmas lights at the event, and to The Fresh Market for supplying apple cider.

Affiliated with the National Association of Homes Builders, the HBAGC is a non-profit professional association, representing firms involved in all facets of the housing industry.
